About Sligo Salers
Sligo Salers was established in 1995 with the importation
of a bull and heifer from France.
The following year we imported two more heifers and we continued
this process every year since. We are currently breeding sixty
five Pedigree Saler cows. The foundation of the herd is built
from careful selection of quality French Females from top
prize winning French herds such as Vantal, Moulier, Brousse,
and Roussel.
All our females are crossed with top French AI Sires. We
believe it’s essential to use AI in producing an animal
of high quality and maintain the high standards of the herd
that we have set since the beginning
Last year we are proud to say that we are the first breeder
to export a home bred bull back to France. Sligo Hamil was
purchased by French breeder Rougier.
